The Email That Gets Your Membership Approved.
Â
If you’re paying for SenPro Gym out of your own pocket, there’s a decent chance you don’t need to be.
Most companies set aside a training and development budget every year, and a good chunk of it goes unused. Not because the money isn’t there, but because nobody asked for it. Managers can’t approve a cost they don’t know about, and most people have never actually made the ask.
That’s what this page is for. Below is a ready-to-send email that makes the case for you: what SenPro Gym is, what it costs, and why it’s worth approving. Copy it, fill in the blanks, and send it.
Â
Why This Is Worth Asking For
Â
If you’re in a sales role, the case is pretty simple. The job gets judged on results, and results come from how well you handle the moments that actually matter: the discovery call, the objection, the close. Those are learnable skills, and they get better with structured practice, not just time in the seat.
SenPro Gym gives you a place to build those reps. AI roleplay based on your own real calls, scored against the frameworks your team actually sells with, and a coaching library built by vetted industry experts rather than generic sales theory. None of that needs your manager’s involvement to use. It does need $25 a month, and that’s the part this template takes care of.
Most managers are glad to see someone ask for this. It signals you’re serious about hitting the number you’re both accountable for, and $25 a month is an easy yes next to almost any other line item with “training” in the name.

Subject: Expensing SenPro Gym, quick approval request
Hi [Manager’s Name],
I’d like to expense my SenPro Gym membership as a professional development cost, and wanted to give you the quick version of what it is before you approve it.
SenPro Gym is a practice platform built specifically for sales professionals. Instead of a workshop or a generic course, it’s AI roleplay built from real sales calls, scored against whichever framework our team uses (MEDDPICC, BANT, or SPICED), plus a coaching library from vetted industry experts rather than generic sales content. I’d use it to sharpen discovery, objection handling, and closing between calls, in short sessions rather than a big time commitment.
It’s $25 a month with no contract, so it’s easy to cancel if it’s not delivering value. For context, that’s less than [a weekly coffee run], and if it helps me close even one additional deal this quarter, it pays for itself several times over.
Happy to share progress if that’s useful, or point you to more detail at sentientpro.com. Let me know if you’re able to approve this, or if there’s a different process you’d rather I use.
Thanks, [Your Name]

Making It Yours
Â
Swap in your manager’s name, pick the framework your team actually uses, check your local currency and cost, and change the comparison line to something that will land with your manager specifically. Finally, add your name at the end. Everything else can go out exactly as written.
If your company runs cost approvals through a form instead of email, paste the same text into the justification field. It works either way.
Â
Download It
Â
Grab the template (BELOW) in whichever format suits your setup best:
- Download as .txt. The safest option if you’re pasting straight into Gmail, Outlook, or an expense form. Plain text carries no hidden formatting, so it pastes clean on any operating system.
- Download as .docx. Opens in Word or Google Docs if you would rather edit it there first and copy the finished version across.
PDF is left out on purpose. It reads well, but copying text out of a PDF often brings stray line breaks and hyphenation with it, which means more cleanup, not less, once it lands in your email. If you need a printable copy, the .docx opens and prints cleanly on its own.
